Up for sale is a nice H. L. Leonard bamboo fly rod. This rod was originally 9' 6" long; however, the tip is shortened and this rod now measures just over 8' 11". Aside from the shortened tip, this rod is in fairly nice shape. It appears that some of the guide wrappings have been redone at some point in time. Also, the cork handle has some wear, but it is complete and it still feels nice in your hand (the reel seat hardware has some minor markings). The ferrules fit tight (they measure 17/64 & 11/64). As it sits, this rod weighs 4.7oz. Comes with the tube and sock, they both look original. Please note, the sock has holes and tears (I covered up the bottom ones with tape). All-in-all, a nice rod to have fully restored or you can even fish with it as-is. Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.

in the box. All reels and lures are shipped in sturdy boxes. Rods are shipped in USPS triangular shaped tubes, regular cardboard tubes, or PVC tube.
I will not use a rod tube or box that feels weak.
