    Peptone B SOY PROTEIN: Soy peptone is a papaic/pancreatic digest of defatted soybean meal. It is used in culture media for the cultivation of a wide variety of microorganisms including bacteria and fungi. It is an excellent source of vitamins and carbohydrates.

    Peptone is obtained by hydrolyzing proteins such as blood fiber with pepsin or other enzymes. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, chloroform and ether.
