    Description

    This auction is for an original 1930’s South Bend Split Bamboo Model 57-8 1/2 foot Fly Rod with original Sleeve and rod tube. The 8 1/2 foot fly rod was designed for trout and bass and is in excellent vintage condition for being around 90 years old. The original wraps on the guides are in very good condition and the rod comes with the extra tip section. The South Bend tube is in good condition with some vintage wear, but is for a model 47-8 1/2 as shown in the photos. These vintage South Bend 57’s are getting harder to find!
