    Description

    A "Meyers Streamer" Fiberglass Fly Rod. 1960's maybe? It is in 2 parts, 8 1/2" long and comes in original fabric bag and cardboard tube. It is in excellent condition. No loose threads, missing ferrules or damage of any kind. Not my area of expertise, but my dad was a guide who loved fishing the western streams, so I am always on the lookout for nice, old rods in his memory. The elderly gentleman I bought this from said it came from Meyers Hardware in Golden Colorado. Joe Meyer purchased the old store there in 1945. I don't know if Joe made rods or if he farmed them in from another maker. In any event this is a nice, old rod, in great shape and in need of a forever home.
