This vintage Berkley Buccaneer 'Sweetheart' BT5S 5 piece 7' pack-in spinning rod, in the original tube, is in very good condition, with minor finish wear. The cork handle and anodized aluminum reel seat are very good, the four guides and tip are true, tight, and clean, and the label is complete and clean. The molded rubber butt cap with 'B' in a heart, shows some wear. The tube is scuffed and scratched, but has no cracks or chips. The caps, with locking tabs and carry cord, are complete, with no cracks. The labels on the tube and end cap show wear, but are fully readable. The rod weighs 7.2 ounces, total weight with 20-1/2" tube is 15.7 ounces. Please let the pics be your guide when bidding, as they are part of the description.
