Description
Weber-Henshall Quadrakraft Fly Rod, Classic, Vintage Or Antique, believed to be Model 4100 from the 1940s. Square shape. From what I can find Bill Edward made this rod for Weber of Stevens Point, Wisconsin in the early 1940s. Possibly 1943 Model 4100. No markings to tell. My grandfather owned this rod and used it to fish in Maine and the Canadian Maritime provinces. Appears to have light use and is very good shape but I am not an expert. 9 Footer. Has two tips one of which is the shorter version of the rod. Quote about the rod allegedly from the catalog of the day: “Hand welted ferrules, ground to fit; 4 point serrated and slotted. Solid 7 1/2 inch cork grip. Silk wound in dark brown at ferrules and guuides only, beautifully varnished and finished. 3/2 configuration only”Shipped with USPS Priority Mail or FedEx
Message me if you want more photos or specific ones. I think there are few flaws to this rod but for some scraping on the base plastic and the fade of the cork but I’ll send pics for you to decide.
